STIFFY 1620
For lightweight knits (T-shirts) and stretch fabrics
Embroidering on stretchy materials can lead to distortion—iron-on nonwoven stabilizer is essential. Once heat-pressed, it adds firmness and stability to knits and high-elastane fabrics, ensuring crisp, distortion-free stitching.
The heat-bonded nonwoven backing remains in place during embroidery, preventing unwanted stretching or puckering. After stitching, simply tear away the excess to reveal a smooth, professional finish.
Processing Recommendations
- Heat-press the nonwoven onto the base fabric following the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Hoop the fabric (with nonwoven attached) in an embroidery hoop.
- Embroider the design as normal.
- Remove the hoop and carefully tear away the excess nonwoven.
